Entertainment Film NewsAccording to Movieline, Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts will be receiving $8 million and $12 million respectively to do a Fine Line flick called "Easy Women." Never mind the trail of crap they've both left behind -- "Flesh and Bone," "French Kiss," "I.Q.," "I Love Trouble," "Something To Talk About" and "Mary Reilly." This time they are in the money. You go, girls!
Also look out for Sandra Bullock -- the lucky one -- who will be starring across from (sigh) hunk-man Chris O'Donnell in Richard Attenborough's "In Love and War," as a World War I nurse. Now, there's a love story.
An Entertainment Weekly newsflash tells us that Sylvester Stallone is going low budget, baby. The action hero announced last week that he'll be getting less than 1 percent of his usual $20 million salary to star in the Miramax film "Copland." Yo -- Sly -- now that's a big leap down, wouldn't you say?
Look out for more of our "Friends" to hit the big screen. Next up is David Schwimmer, who will star opposite Gwyneth Paltrow in "The Pallbearer," a tale of friendship and love in the '90s. Well, if Schwimmer's (you know, Ross -- as in Rachel and Ross) film is just as good as his buddy Matt LeBlanc's "Ed" ... well, then, we've got some problems.
