A place to call home: City Council should approve sale for shelter
Ann Arbor's homeless population may soon have a new shelter where it can escape the harsh elements. The Shelter Association and the Homeless Action Committee want to procure a former National Guard armory that sits vacant in downtown Ann Arbor and convert it into an additional shelter.

The theme for this year's event was "One World, One Hope," emphasizing that people all over the world must unite and work together to halt the AIDS epidemic and support those affected by AIDS. It is a reminder that AIDS can affect anyone. The global approach to solving the crisis must continue - AIDS has become everyone's problem.
