John Perpener teaches a master class at the school
of dance yesterday. He is visiting with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's
In-Residency Program. Perpener is an assistant professor of dance at the University
of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and is an expert in early African American modern
dance.
