The not-so-civil war

The celebration ended real quick. Just 45 minutes after Michigan mauled Minnesota, 44-10, last week in Minneapolis, the Wolverines exited the locker room to the coaxing of Michigan defensive coordinator Greg Mattison.
"C'mon, let's win the Big One now!" Mattison yelled, clapping his hands. "C'mon, the Big One's next week!"

Offense shows up for 'M' soccer

The Michigan women soccer team's offense has been inconsistent, often scoring three or more goals, but even more often being shutout. So, the question going into its game yesterday afternoon was this: Would the Michigan offense show up to play Detroit-Mercy at Michigan Soccer Field?

The Michigan hockey team has won 14 games in a row since its 7-3 loss at Lake Superior on Feb. 24. A victory tonight at Notre Dame would tie the school record of 15 straight victories set during the 1990-91 season.

The stage is set. The Michigan field hockey team returns home this weekend for the most anticipated home series of the season. The Wolverines (2-6 Big Ten, 7-8 overall) close out their regular season against conference foes Northwestern and Iowa.

'M' netters carry high ranking to Districts

With confidence and optimism, the No. 24 Michigan men's tennis team travels to East Lansing this weekend for the District IV Championship as the highest ranked team in the tournament.
