A Night in the ER: Even an uneventful evening is full of surprises at 'U' Hospital

While the TV-drama "ER" is perched atop the popularity ratings, its exquisite plots are highly condensed and oftentimes distorted versions of real life emergency rooms, as the show's producers aren't subject to accuracy ratings.

Proletariat slices and bourgeois pies round out A2 pizza fare

The reason pizza is such a quintessential college food, I am thoroughly convinced, lies in its structure rather than its taste. The circular slab of dough, divided by four-plus radii, is perfectly constructed to be shared with an indefinite number of people.

Oscar winners plan new projects; Jamiroquai, others, play Mt. Fuji

'Dans' theater premieres tonight

What dance company would you consider to be an ideal company? Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) just might be your answer. Combining classical ballet technique with a style that is both contemporary and avant-garde, NDT equals absolutely amazing dance. Tonight and Friday NDT II and III make their debut in Ann Arbor at the Power Center.

First Holocaust film to be shown tonight at Nat. Sci.

University students will be blessed with yet another film during Hillel's 18th Annual "Conference on the Holocaust" (March 24-April 4) tonight. Directed by notable Jewish filmmakers of the time, Herbert Fredersdof and Marek Goldstein, "Long is the Road" marked the first dramatization to depict the Holocaust from a Jewish perspective.
