Stepping ahead: Take Back the Night event fights violence

Tomorrow evening, local women will launch an attack on sexual assault and other violence against women as they gather for the 18th annual Take Back the Night rally. Beginning at 7 p.m., at Top of the Park, next to the Power Center, the event seeks to draw people from the city of Ann Arbor and the University together; rally organizers expect a turnout that could exceed 3,000 participants. The rally will precede a women-only march through the city's streets.

Wrestling administration: BU must support learning-disabled rights

Boston University President Jon Wrestling is fighting a foolish battle to limit the services BU provides for the learning disabled. Wrestling has hindered learning-disabled students' ability to meet course requirements, along with mandating that he will make all final decisions on applications for special services. His actions are discriminatory - under Wrestling's leadership, BU is unjustly denying its learning-disabled students federally required services.

There is something that affects your life on a daily basis without your giving it a second thought. But, me, oh, it keeps me up at night. How your ethnicity mediates your relations with others in this society? No. The plight of the royal housepets now that Charles and Di have split for good? Closer, but still no stogie. My mind is on your underwear. So, let us delve into our pants for further investigation, and put this egregious neglect to an end.
