U.S. ambassador to France suffers hemorrhage
PARIS - Ambassador Pamela Harriman remained in serious condition yesterday after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
Harriman, 76, collapsed at an exclusive Paris health club Monday evening and was taken by ambulance to the American Hospital in Neuilly, on the western edge of Paris. A statement issued by the U.S. Embassy gave no details of her medical condition yesterday or any prognosis for her recovery.
MSA will not probe Mehta's allocation
In a secret-ballot vote, Michigan Student Assembly members narrowly decided not to investigate alleged misappropriations by MSA Vice President Probir Mehta.
LSA Rep. Andy Schor introduced the resolution to form an investigative committee, which members voted down 12-18 at last night's weekly MSA meeting.
