Getting a Legg up: More to senior center than eye can see
There are eyes on Mike Legg - constantly. The eyes belong to different people, all whom see different things that Legg, a senior center on the Michigan hockey team, accomplishes. His actions are watched and his movements are recorded.
But it all starts with the eyes.
Say cheese! Howard grins, Green Bay wins
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Green Bay Packers finally have a present to go with their past.

Lighter classes have to start pulling their weight
After dropping three of the first four matches Saturday night against a weaker Northwestern team, even Michigan wrestling coach Dale Bahr was quick to point out the obvious - the Wolverines are struggling at the lower weight classes.
Men's basketball band needs to add more pep
You've heard it a thousand times.
In Michigan, it's as popular a complaint as, "Boy, the weather sure stinks." Why is Crisler Arena such a morgue during men's basketball games?
Defense locks down Redskins
Miami (Ohio) forwards Randy Robitaille and Tim Leahy had been on fire all season - until this weekend.
The Wolverines shut down the Redskins' best players both nights in every phase of the game.

As steps go, these were two big ones.
But they were still only steps.

With its three captains as the only upperclassmen starters, the Michigan wrestling team has looked to Bill Lacure, Jeff Catrabone and Airron Richarson to come though in the clutch all season.

Swimmers take two
When you've lost 45 swim meets in a row to the same team, you're not supposed to put up much of a challenge, especially if you're facing the fifth-best college swim team in the country.
