Shuffling lines key to Blue's Ohio State visit

The Michigan hockey team has had to deal with all the usual problems that arise during the six-month grind of a college hockey season. And now, beginning with tonight's 7 o'clock game at Ohio State, it will have to deal with one that is not-so-usual.

Michigan grapplers top Michigan State

EAST LANSING - Between chasing a Pitbull and climbing a Hill, the Michigan State wrestling team was unable to overcome the Wolverines, losing last night's match at home, 28-15. Michigan, which has been struggling at the lower weight classes lately, shuffled its lineup a little bit, moving 118-pounder Chris "Pitbull" Viola to 126 pounds and junior Greg DeLeon to 118 pounds.

Lacure leads in gym and in classroom

Smart and stubborn. It's a scary combination for anyone, especially an athlete. Michigan wrestler Bill Lacure is not only 20-4 on the season, ranked third in the country at 150 pounds, and wrestling in the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Star Classic at Clarion University on Feb. 3, but he is also a First-Team Academic All-American.
