Follow the rules: 'U' abuses control over student accounts
Vandalism struck the sixth floor of Couzens Residence Hall during the night of March 19 when someone tore a $1,500 bulletin board from the wall. Though University officials do not know who did it, they have found a group to hold financially responsible unless the culprit voluntarily comes forward: the residents of the vandalized floor.
Talk of the town: Meetings strengthen campus communication
The University, under President Lee Bollinger, has established a new method of communication between the administration and student body, as is witnessed by the students' gathering at the President's house after the football team's win over Penn State and after the hockey team's national championship victory over Boston College. But in addition to partying with students after football games, Bollinger has made it a mission for his presidency to create an open dialogue between the student body and administrators, something that has been lacking under former presidents.
Just a spoonful of sugar lets the championships get won
It's now official. Saturday night's ice hockey victory in Boston sealed the title. Michigan Athletic Director Tom Goss is now the proud and rightful wearer of the crown - he's without a doubt the Luckiest Man on Earth.
