A mellow and ambient undercurrent moves through the entire album as the sweetly penetrating voice of singer Miriam Cabrera give the songs force and structure. Using fierce guitars and electronics, including a didjeridoo, Morsel mixes different and opposing instrumentals to create a beautifully unstructured sound.

While the sound of the album is largely electronic, including some drum and bass, it isn't at the expense of meaningful lyrics. Some lyrics give a sense of order and meaning to the otherwise amorphous songs on the album.
"I'm A Wreck" is a quietly beautiful, flawless album. The band has put songs together in an unorthodox way, but it works. "I'm A Wreck" will no doubt deliver for fans of Morsel, and is bound to win over new listeners as well.
