Michigan volunteers first loss to Tennessee

Like any good thing, it had to come to an end. As much as the players and coaches downplayed it, it still hurt to see it go.

Miami (Ohio) goaltender Trevor Prior isn't a Michigan fan. He especially isn't a Marty Turco fan. In fact, rumor has it that Prior may once have owned a T-shirt with a bullseye and Turco's name written across it when the two played against each other in juniors.

'M' cagers look to turn tables

It is often said that he who laughs last, laughs loudest. Tonight, the Michigan women's basketball team hopes it will be the one left laughing as it heads to State College to take on Penn State. The Nittany Lions were the ones who were laughing the last time these two teams met, when the Wolverines squandered a 13-point second-half lead and lost the game in overtime, 85-84. Michigan will no doubt be looking to redeem itself when it faces Penn State at 7 p.

Uncertainty only thing certain for Michigan men's basketball

Three weeks ago, I was thinking Sweet 16 for Michigan. Now, I don't know what to think. What is it about this team that loves to toy with the fans and writers, give glimpses of greatness, then just a few games later display games of mediocrity?
