"I'm the king of the world!" Yes, lovable Leonardo DiCaprio gets his "Titanic" wish fulfilled when he gets to play the king of France in "The Man In The Iron Mask," a disappointing movie that is unable to take advantage of its stellar cast.

For the first time in the history of the University's Department of Theater and Drama, the acting and directing studios are working together on a production written by a student playwright.
"smalltime," a new student play, will be workshopped tonight at 5 in the Arena Theater. The play follows the antics in the greenroom of a variety show that has been overbooked with illustrious guests for the evening.
Play hits the big 'time'
Almost 75 people gathered on Thursday in Rackham Amphitheater to listen to renowned poet Don Bogen read from his most recent book, "The Known World." Including a wide range of subject matter, from a poem about Ed Sullivan's shock at Elvis Presley's first appearance on his show to poems inspired by other poets, Bogen delighted the audience with his humor and musical language.

On the eve of the Academy Awards ceremony celebrating the best films and performances of 1995, Rev. Jesse Jackson published an essay on the lack of nominations received by people of color. His protest of the Oscars and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences received widespread publicity and brought to light a major problem within the movie industry.
Minority actors aren't Oscar's priority
If horror movies are supposed to be a representation of clever plot twists and unpredictabilities, then surely the writer/director Johnathon Darby's latest thriller, "Hush," intended to be some sort of ironic satire.
Not only is the audience led through a series of suspense sequences that were ridiculously obvious but it is also hit hard with the blatant lack of any acting talent from the characters.
