When students hit the polls this week and vote for two regents, they might wonder exactly how important the regents are. The University Board of Regents has a lot more impact on the student body than many are aware of - from tuition increases to revamping the Code of Student Conduct, the regents have their hands in many aspects of student life. They serve eight-year terms, during which they can significantly shape the University's direction.
