After weeks of defending - or trying to defend - its home turf, the Michigan football team is hitting the road.
The Wolverines (1-0 Big Ten, 2-2 overall) will try to put any thoughts of their last road game - a 36-20 debacle at Notre Dame on Sept. 5 - far out of mind when they travel to Iowa City.

Crew embarks on long fall races
Michigan's crew team will be embarking on its first regatta of the '98-99 season when it travels to Pittsburgh for the Head of the Ohio Regatta this weekend.
The fall season - the warmup for the spring - is when the coaches find out who will be the main contributors.
Louis Bullock is used to nailing 3-pointers for the Michigan basketball team. And the 6-foot-3 guard can also hit the boards.
