Something is terribly wrong with the political race in Michigan. The state's gubernatorial contest - with its dogmatic politicking and personal attacks - has proven to be the source of much controversy. Republican John Engler is vying for a third term as governor against Democrat Geoffrey Fieger - who used his position as Jack Kevorkian's attorney to propel him into the political arena. While both candidates offer certain qualities that would make them a good choice for the chief executive position, neither possesses a complete package of abilities that makes him worthy of election.
