From the Daily: Vote Brater, Hansen

No matter which side of town students live on, the best choice for state representative is the Democratic candidate. Before serving in the state Legislature, Brater was the first female mayor of Ann Arbor and served on the Ann Arbor City Council for four years. She also has many connections with the University - she is a former English professor and still occasionally delivers guest lectures.
