The suspect ogled the female student, then fled the scene when she cried out, DPS officials said in the report.
DPS officials stated that the student did not need an ambulance to take him to University Hospitals' emergency room or to University Health Services, but he did request DPS provide him with a ride.
The student waited in the Mosher-Jordan dining hall until DPS arrived to take him to M-Works, DPS reports state.
The student said the man intimidated her and made her feel uncomfortable, so she left the room. Since then, she has received more threats from her friend's roommate, DPS reports state.
The specialized laser equipment was originally claimed missing in late December. DPS officials stated that fliers were posted to track down the equipment's whereabouts. Since the fliers yielded no results, DPS was called Monday afternoon to officially report the equipment as stolen.
The person who called DPS to alert them of the fire, assured DPS that the fire had been smothered with snow, DPS reports state. The cause of the fire is unknown.
DPS officials stated that the student had left her room unattended without locking the door. DPS has not identified any suspects in the theft.
DPS officials requested that Mosher-Jordan Residence Hall staff assess the situation and decide what action to take. They did not file a report.
