'Commander' stays grounded
A galaxy far, far away, intergalactic space battles, brash, hotshot pilots and power hungry aliens, Oh my!
The "Star Wars" trailer is absolutely stunning. Seeing a brief glimpse of what George Lucas has in store for us is worth the $7.50 alone. Sadly, however, movie theaters won't run the two and a half minute film strip on continuous loop for two hours.
'Dusk 2' sinks its teeth into video stores today
For a mediocre movie, "From Dusk Till Dawn" has sure gotten quite a bit of attention since its release three years ago. First there was the documentary on the film's making, "Full Tilt Boogie," and now a pair of direct to video releases - both a prequel a

Sandler's 'Waterboy' splashes onto video
"Bulworth," the dark horse in this year's Best Original Screenplay category, finally makes its way to video today. The movie is written and directed by its star Warren Beatty, someone who's been around the block more than once. Here, Beatty plays a disill

Kiss Offs know how to say 'Goodbye'
Punk at its down and dirtiest, "Goodbye Private Life" has enough drop-dead hooks and trashy attitude to make rock safe again for some foot action on the dance floor. Armed with a casio keyboard and some mad boogie-woogie, the Kiss Offs describe the facts
and fictions of first kisses, last kisses and all the making out in between.
Source's jungle rock hypnotizes
Source Direct produces some of the most haunting yet soothing jungle music ever heard. Unlike the majority of electronic music intended to make you shake your booty, the epic songs on this album are more likely to shake your psyche into a state of instabi
lity.
'Tornados' breathes new life into Lee's music
Aussie wonderboy Ben Lee's third album, "Breathing Tornados," takes his incredible storytelling skills and pushes them into the abstract. His previous solo work ("Grandpa Would," "Something to Remember Me By") showcased a stripped down and folky style and
voice.
Holland's Gathering shows it's a small world, after all
The Gathering is easily not a familiar name for American music fans. In their native Holland, however, this band is one of the biggest music acts around. The group, which has been together for close to 10 years now, is well-known by Anneke van Giersbergen
's charismatic singing.
