DPS officers notified the Ann Arbor Police Department, but the woman said she did not want to press charges against her attacker, whom she knew.
After a short foot chase, DPS officers apprehended the subject, who was returned to University Hospitals.
The graffiti covered the fifth floor southwest stairwell and the interior walls between the fourth and fifth levels in the carport. "CRAZIE," "DOSERVE" and "WERE'S SATAN" were among some graffiti written in black marker. DPS has no suspects in the case and does not know when the incident occurred. Parking Maintenance was notified for clean-up.
A valet working at 1500 East Medical Center Dr. allegedly backed a gold Mercury Sable into a pole Monday morning and did not report the damage, DPS reports state. Scratches on the pole and on a vehicle that matched the car's description were found by DPS. The damage was documented.
DPS questioned the valet about his failure to report the incident. The valet first said he did not believe the damage was "a big deal," according to DPS.
DPS investigated the matter, finding the subjects at the named location. DPS found no evidence or smell of marijuana.
The camera disappeared between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday evening. The green digital camera and a battery pack also are missing.
The owner of the car said he is sure the damage occurred last Thursday because another vehicle was parked very close to his. But he said he did not notice the damage until Saturday because his car is dark and dirty.
The vehicle from which the hubcaps were stolen was parked on Level 1 of the Thompson Street Carport while the owner attended the game.
