SCC members storm lecture on free speech

University President Lee Bollinger planned to give a lecture on the First Amendment at the Alumni Center yesterday, but instead members of the Students of Color Coalition decided to exercise their freedom of expression.

'Kingdom' lives happily ever after

Thought about fairytales much since those pre-adolescent days? Maybe it's time to reemerge in the stories of the past. Images of the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Stepmother once danced through our heads during a time of innocence where anything was possible. Now that we're all "adults," do these stories still posses their magic? If the extravagance of NBC's new miniseries "The 10th Kingdom" is any indicator, fairytales can still work their magic on those of us who still believe in "happily ever after."

Candidates unfairly snubbed University

Throughout the campus hoopla surrounding last Tuesday's Republican primary, one event was noticeably absent within the city limits of Ann Arbor. Despite a record voter turnout and an outpouring of student activism, no Republican candidate held campaign events in the city.
