Fall 2021 Reunion via ZOOM!

UPDATE: our Fall 2021 Reunion is shifting to an online format via Zoom.  Join us to reconnect and network virtually, and to celebrate our alumni history with Student Publications, including The Michigan Daily, Michiganensian Yearbook, Gargoyle Humor Magazine, and SHEI Magazine Zoom links will be sent out, to all of our alumni and students who RSVP, in the week before the Reunion.

Friday, Sept. 17th at 7pm will feature panel discussions and A Conversation with Mara Gay. Mara is a member of The New York Times Editorial Board. She held the same position at the Daily in the mid-2000s, as well as wrote an Opinion page column and news articles. She will be in conversation about COVID with CNN Health Reporter Jacqueline Howard, a colleague of Mara's on The Daily.

Also on the ticket that evening will be a Sports Panel discussion about the new "Name, Image, Likeness" policy that is reshaping college sports, with Brady McCollough of the LA Times, Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic, and Daniel Dash, current Michigan football beat reporter for The Michigan Daily. 

Filmmaker Panel will spotlight the work, awards, and the aspects of their time at the Daily shaped their career in films. Featured are Roger Rapoport, Aviva Kempner, Davy Rothbart and Elizabeth Lippman

In person for student recipients, who will be served lunch at Trotter Multicultural Center, while donors, alumni, and parents join in via Zoom.

We plan a re-do of our Reunion weekend next fall, if it can be done safely -- meanwhile, please stay healthy, and Go Blue!
