Reunion Update: Dedication Time and Hotel Blocks

The cornerstone of our reunion weekend - the dedication of the Stanford Lipsey Student Publications Building - has been set for Friday, October 26, 2007, at 6:00 pm, with President Mary Sue Coleman's involvement confirmed.

Many of you have begun asking about blocks of hotel rooms, and information on the blocks reserved at five hotels is both below and attached (the attachment is in landscape orientation), in hopes that your computer and email program will allow you to easily read at least one version.

One alumnus suggested that alumni be grouped in the various hotels by graduation decade, and I have included suggestions in the "facility" column based upon price, number of rooms available, amenities for children, and transportation. Most of the facilities will be able to expand the number of rooms in our blocks once we have filled our initial block; only Kensington Court will probably not be able to provide more than the 11 rooms reserved. Note that Hawthorne Suites requires reservations to be made early: by April 9.
